Earlier it became known that a rocket attack on Vinnytsia on July 14 destroyed or damaged 55 residential buildings, the death toll rose to 24 people, another 68 victims continue to be treated in hospitals. The Russian Ministry of Defense explained the missile attack on Vinnitsa by the fact that "Nazis" were allegedly based in the local House of Officers. However, on the day of the rocket attack, a charity concert by the singer Roxolana (Roksolana Sirota) was planned there. A member of her team, 25-year-old sound engineer Evgeny Kovalenko, died. At 11 o'clock, just before the impact, he parked his car in front of the House of Officers and was about to enter the building to begin preparations for the concert. Three more members of the Roxolana bands and singer Olya Cybulskaya were injured.
On July 9, the Russian military attacked Chasovoy Yar. According to the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration (OVA) Pavel Kirilenko, the shelling was carried out with missiles from the Hurricanes. The State Emergency Service reported 43 dead, including a child (a boy of about 9 years old).
