Host Alexander Gudkov was denounced for parodying a propaganda video

Chairman of the "Civil Committee of Russia" Artur Shlykov wrote a denunciation to the Prosecutor General's Office against the host and comedian Alexander Gudkov for "inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliating human dignity" (Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Mash reports .

The basis for the denunciation was Gudkov's video "I am narrow", published on the Chicken Curry YouTube channel. This is a parody of the pro-Kremlin musician Shaman's song "I'm Russian".

“In the said parody, there may be an intent to humiliate dignity on a national basis, directly humiliate the dignity of people who consider themselves Russian patriots,” the text of the denunciation says.

If the Prosecutor General's Office and the court confirm the fact of humiliation, then Gudkov faces a fine of up to 500 thousand rubles or a period of two to five years.

At the same time, Shaman himself did not speak negatively about the parody and even supported it:

“For me, it is happiness that people make their own versions of my work. This only says one thing: the song "I'm Russian" is gaining momentum. There are people who like it and who don't like it. There are no indifferent people, that’s what is most interesting and important for me.”
