The former head of Aleksey Navalny's headquarters in Khabarovsk, Aleksey Vorsin, has been put on the federal wanted list. He announced this in the Telegram channel. “Perhaps soon my photo will hang at all stops in Khabarovsk, but this has nothing to do with the upcoming elections. I was put on the federal wanted list,” the activist writes.
Vorsin posted a video on YouTube in which he said that a criminal case had been opened against him for organizing an extremist community (Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code).
Most likely, we are talking about one criminal case against supporters of Alexei Navalny, OVD-Info notes . However, this has not been confirmed. In December 2021, the Investigative Committee combined five criminal cases against Navalny and his supporters into one. The consolidated criminal case includes articles on money laundering, as well as financing, leadership and participation in an extremist community.
In 2020, Alexei Vorsin was detained and arrested several times in connection with actions in support of the ex-governor of the region Sergei Furgal, and in 2021 in connection with actions in support of Alexei Navalny. Vorsin also stated that he was being monitored.
