In St. Petersburg, a local resident, Nikita Ustyuzhanin, was arrested for seven days for calling a dark-skinned girl Stella Kaziyake on a bus a “monkey”. He was also assigned 50 hours of work, according to the joint press service of the city courts.
He was brought to administrative responsibility for committing offenses under Art. 20.3.1 (inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity) and Part 1 of Art. 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (petty hooliganism). Ustyuzhanin himself pleaded guilty, admitting that he was intoxicated.
On June 13, Casillaque posted a video on her Facebook page in which Ustyuzhanin insulted her. She said that on the day of Russia, he sat down with her on the bus with the words "Monkey, let's take a picture, I'll send it to my wife!".
