Occupation authorities of Kherson region forbade local residents to cross the Dnieper – General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The occupation authorities of the Kherson region have imposed a ban on the movement of local residents. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its daily report.

In particular, people are forbidden to cross the Dnieper - both on bridges and with the help of boats. If the ban is violated, the Russian military threatens to open fire to kill. According to the General Staff, the ban was introduced in response to the intensive shelling of areas where Russian forces are concentrated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On the night of August 29, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counteroffensive, which military analysts call the largest response to Russian troops in the entire war. The first strikes were on the ammunition depot in the Ukrainian penal colony in Kherson, Novaya Kakhovka, Alyoshki, and the Antonovsky bridge across the Dnieper.

Several settlements in the Kherson direction were also liberated. At the same time, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Office of the President do not comment on the situation. Read about the progress of the offensive, which cannot be talked about, in The Insider.
