Amazon-owned IMDb removes reviews for Amazon Prime’s new ‘Lord of the Rings’ series

The world's largest film site IMDb is removing reviews of the new Amazon Prime series The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power. Reddit users noticed this. Notably, IMDb itself is also owned by Amazon.

The series was criticized even before its premiere - for the fact that it has female gnomes and dark-skinned elves. At the moment, his lowest rating is 5/10. Reddit users point out that prior to the “purge”, Amazon’s new product had many “ones”. The overall rating for Rings of Power is now 6.6/10.

Access to the rating of the series is also closed on Amazon Prime Video itself. This was done on September 3, two days after the premiere and the flurry of criticism that hit the series. The rating cannot be viewed on the website or in the mobile application. According to Gagadget.com , citing sources, Amazon Prime Video introduced a 72-hour limit to weed out trolls and make sure that every review is real.
