“Kommersant”: Natalia Vovk, suspected of the murder of Dugina, was associated with the “Right Sector”

Natalya Vovk, who was identified by Russian intelligence services as a suspect in blowing up Daria Dugina's car, was linked to the Right Sector. Kommersant writes about this, citing sources in the FSB.

According to the publication, the investigation does not exclude that Vovk could have accomplices.

Earlier, the FSB said that Vovk served in the Azov regiment and was associated with the SBU. The Azov press service stated that Vovk had nothing to do with the regiment.

Meanwhile, RIA Novosti published an interview with a man whom he calls Vovk's father. His name has not been released and his face is blurred in the video. Where the interview was taken is unknown.

The man in an interview claims that Vovk "seemed to have served" in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, she went to Europe as a refugee. “She was there with a child. She went to France as a refugee. Then she didn’t like it, she returned to Poland, and then to Ukraine, ”he said .

He stated that Vovk did not serve in the Azov regiment and did not take part in the anti-terrorist operation in Donbas. “She did not serve in Azov, she seemed to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Then she paid off and left. She was operated on, there was some kind of tumor in her head, ” says the man in the video.

The car of 29-year-old Darya Dugina exploded on the evening of August 20 in the Moscow region, she died on the spot. Friends of Alexander Dugin claimed that he himself should have been in the car, but at the last moment he changed his mind and got into another car.

The car bomb was allegedly planted in the estate's parking lot. The day before, REN TV reported , citing sources, that surveillance cameras had not been working in the parking lot for two weeks.

On August 22, the day after the explosion of Dugina's car, the FSB announced that the murder had been committed by Ukrainian special services. According to the FSB, the perpetrator of the murder is a citizen of Ukraine, Vovk, born in 1979. It was noted that Vovk arrived in Russia on July 23, 2022, along with her 12-year-old daughter (Shaban Sofia Mikhailovna).

The FSB published a video showing Vovk entering Russia with his daughter. The video also contains footage of her entering the entrance of the house where Dugina lived, and then shows the moment when Vovk leaves for Estonia. In addition, the FSB published three pictures from a surveillance camera, from which, according to the intelligence service, it is clear that the plates of Ukraine, Kazakhstan and the unrecognized DPR were used on the car.
