In Moscow, the performance of the Splin group was canceled after the vocalist dedicated the song to the musicians who left Russia

The Splin group will not perform at the Music with a Strong Character festival in Moscow on August 26. This was announced by the soloist of the group Alexander Vasiliev to the Kommersant publication. When asked about the reasons for the cancellation, he replied: "And so everything is clear." The concert was supposed to take place at the capital's VEB Arena, the organizer of Music with a Strong Character, Pavel Obluchkov, read journalists' questions about the reason for the cancellation in the messenger, but did not answer.

According to the sources of the publication, the organizers "called and said to withdraw."

Earlier, at the Chernozem festival in Voronezh, which took place from August 19 to 21, Vasiliev dedicated one of the songs to musicians forced to emigrate from Russia. Vasiliev expressed the hope that "the light will come", everyone will return and perform. After that, the broadcast was immediately interrupted, this fragment was later cut out.

At the same time, Vasiliev did not speak from the stage about the war and did not criticize the Russian authorities. “It is nice to see so many people in whom mercy, compassion, philanthropy have been preserved, who do not accept cruelty, violence and murder. In these black nights, even major songs sound sad, ”said the musician.

On August 23, the organizer of the Voronezh concert, Evgeny Khamin, apologized on his Telegram channel for Vasiliev's statement. He noted that before the concert he gave guarantees to the authorities “where the guarantees were given by“ artists ””.

“Guarantees were needed: now it is impossible to provoke the situation neither to artists, nor to us, nor to the media. It is impossible to aggravate and so aggravated. It is necessary to consolidate what is not always consolidated. Instead, local "DJs" acted as informational popularizers of the said "irrelevances", braided verbal tangles.
