A protocol was drawn up against Novosibirsk deputy Helga Pirogova on “discrediting” the Russian Armed Forces after a Twitter post about the death of Russian servicemen in Ukraine. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Coalition Novosibirsk 2020".
She faces up to 50,000 rubles in fines.
Pirogova was detained at the exit of the Rebels bar. A charity event was held there to raise money to pay fines to those detained at protests in 2021. In the post that became the reason for the check, the deputy wrote:
“It’s simply inexpressible, I want to revive them all, hit them hard on the cheeks and let them go back to the graves. And it’s in vain that they arranged such a luxurious funeral. ”
A denunciation of Pirogova was written by the former speaker of the Novosibirsk Parliament Andrei Panferov and several other deputies of the legislative assembly of the Novosibirsk region from the Liberal Democratic Party and the City Council of Novosibirsk, who are associated with State Duma deputy Dmitry Savelyev. After that, the chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, organized an audit.
On July 8, Alexei Gorinov, the Mundep of the Krasnoselsky District, was sentenced to seven years in a general regime colony in Moscow under an article about military “fakes”. According to investigators, on March 15, during a meeting of the Council of Deputies, the politician made a number of statements "containing data about the RF Armed Forces that do not correspond to reality." Gorinov called the “special military operation” in Ukraine a “war” and talked about the deaths of Ukrainian children.
The law on "fakes" on the actions of the Russian army was submitted to the State Duma on March 2 and adopted 2 days later by Vladimir Putin's decree, as a result of which censorship was actually introduced in the field of coverage of the activities of the military. Punishment for "fakes" about the actions of the Russian army provides for criminal liability up to 15 years in prison.
