In the Sinelnikovsky district of the Dnepropetrovsk region, warehouses with 5,000 tons of grain were destroyed by a Russian missile strike. This was told by the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional military administration Valentin Reznichenko.
According to him, another rocket flew into the school yard. As a result of the impact, the facade and roof of the local lyceum were damaged. Reznichenko also reports that a rocket hit a private house of local residents. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.
This is not the first time Russia has destroyed Ukrainian grain stocks. In early June, the Russian military launched a missile attack on a warehouse in Mykolaiv, the second largest grain terminal in Ukraine.
“Another Russian missile strike contributing to the global food crisis. <...> In the light of such reports, the disinformation spread by Putin to divert blame becomes even more cynical, ”said Josep Borrell, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, at the time.
