Pushilin appointed four officials from Russia as ministers of the “DPR” for “the speedy transition to the Russian legal field”

Four former Russian officials headed ministries in the self-proclaimed "DPR" for "an early transition to the Russian legal field." The head of the "DPR" Denis Pushilin spoke about this in his Telegram channel.

The former deputy director of the department of state policy in the field of raising children and youth of the Russian Ministry of Education headed the Ministry of Education and Science. Former Deputy Minister of Health of the Sakhalin Region Dmitry Gartsev became the Minister of Health of the "DNR". The former head of the Kstovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the minister of energy and housing and communal services of the region Andrey Chertkov became the minister of coal and energy. Former member of the Public Chamber of the Udmurt Republic Dmitry Shmelev became the Minister of Revenue and Duties.

“The need for a speedy transition to the Russian legal field, to the Russian paradigm of public administration requires the first heads of departments to have new competencies,” Pushilin wrote.

This is not the first appointment of Russians to public positions in the "DPR". On June 8, Pushilin appointed Vitaly Khotsenko, a native of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and a graduate of the so-called school of governors, as the new prime minister of the "DPR".
