Employees of the Center “E” detained the chairman of the Yekaterinburg “Memorial” Alexei Mosin

In Yekaterinburg, employees of the "E" center detained the head of the local "Memorial", historian Alexei Mosin. This is reported by OVD-Info, referring to human rights activist Anatoly Svechnikov.

Mosin was reportedly taken to Memorial's office, where a search is underway: the police are looking for extremist literature, which the organization allegedly stores and distributes. The reason for the search was a complaint, its author is still unknown.

According to security officials, Mosin was detained for the whole day. OVD-Info writes that today Mosin planned to participate in a conference on the history of Stalinism, which is to be held at the Yeltsin Center.
