The United States refused to let a plane for Russian diplomats who were ordered to leave America enter the country

The US authorities refused to let into the country a special plane intended for the export of diplomats from America, who were ordered to leave the country due to sanctions. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

“The Biden Administration chose to completely ignore the fact that, in fact, we are talking about a humanitarian action, since our plane was supposed to fly for those of our colleagues who were previously ordered by the State Department to leave the territory of the United States by the end of this month,” Zakharova wrote.

The American side has not yet commented on this information, while Zakharova claims that Moscow will not leave this step unanswered, "including an asymmetric one." The Russian Foreign Ministry will report them to the State Department "in due course through diplomatic channels."

In the fall of 2021, the US authorities ordered 55 employees of Russian diplomatic missions to leave the country. Of these, 27 had to leave by January 30, another 28 by June 30, 2022.
