Pussy Riot member Olga Borisova believes she was not allowed into Georgia because of a denunciation

Olga Borisova said that she could not be allowed into Georgia because of a denunciation by US citizen Igor Bendega.

According to the activist, Bendega wrote a complaint against her to the Georgian border service. He sent a message to the department, in which he indicated that Borisova was planning to stage a terrorist attack in Georgia aimed at violating the sovereignty of the country. He named the dates on which Borisova was supposed to arrive in Georgia. Bendega also pointed out that the girl was banned from entering Ukraine. According to Borisova, this was done in 2018, after Pussy Riot staged a rally in the annexed Crimea in support of Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov.

Borisova was not allowed into Georgia on June 20. She tried to return there after the end of Pussy Riot's European charity tour. After not being admitted, she was put on a return flight to Amsterdam with a stopover in Istanbul. On the morning of June 21, the activist boarded a flight to Amsterdam. After landing, her passport was confiscated and she was told that upon arrival in Amsterdam she should go to the police station.
