Youtube has blocked the account of the Red Square media group. It is the largest TV content producer in Russia. The journalist Roman Super was the first to pay attention to the blocking.

Now the link to the Red Square account opens a notification about blocking “for violating the use of Youtube terms”.

The Red Square media group has been operating in Russia since 2007. The most famous projects of the holding are “Minute of Glory”, “Let's Get Married”, “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire”, “Fashion Sentence”.

On April 9, Youtube blocked the Duma TV channel of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that YouTube “seems to have signed its own verdict”: “Keep the content, transfer it to Russian platforms. And quickly,” she wrote in her Telegram channel. At the moment, Youtube in Russia continues to work.

On April 1, the agency said that Google and YouTube "have a pronounced anti-Russian policy" and censored the media and public figures about 60 times. The RKN urged Google to immediately remove all restrictions on YouTube from Russian media and resources.

In early March, Youtube blocked all Russian state-funded channels.
