In the Bryansk region, the village of Kister, Pogarsky district, was shelled, Governor Alexander Bogomaz reports on Telegram. He claims that the shelling was carried out from the territory of Ukraine.

According to him, due to the shelling in the village, power lines (power lines) were damaged, and there are also destructions of the road. In a residential apartment building, as well as in an administrative building, "windows were damaged by shell fragments." In addition, Bogomaz said that the monument to the soldiers-liberators who fell in battle during the Great Patriotic War was damaged and published a photo. Since the beginning of the war, the heads of the border regions have regularly reported shelling, blaming the Armed Forces of Ukraine for it. The Ukrainian authorities most often do not comment on these claims of the Russian authorities. However, Ukraine, in turn, reports active shelling from Russian border territories.

In July, Baza wrote that 74-year-old Valentina Zimkova died in Moscow, injured as a result of the shelling of the village of Klimovo in the Bryansk region. The shelling of the village took place on the morning of April 14: 7 people were injured, several houses were damaged. During the shelling, Zimkova lost her leg and was sent to Moscow for treatment. She died at the Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery.

On July 12, Bogomaz reported that 18 mortar shells were fired at the territory of the urban-type settlement of Belaya Berezka, Trubchevsky District, Bryansk Region. On May 19, the Bryansk.news portal reported that shooting again took place in the area of the Belaya Berezka border checkpoint on the Russian-Ukrainian border. Local residents reported in the Belaya Berezka group on VKontakte about shooting and explosions, but the post has already been deleted.
