Dell Corporation, an American electronics manufacturer and the largest supplier of servers to Russia, is leaving the country, CNews sources say . The entire staff will be laid off.
About 50 people worked in the Russian representative office, the newspaper writes. Upon dismissal, they will be paid up to eight salaries, they will give away equipment for free and leave VHI for the family until the end of the year. Management will cut all "salespeople", the marketing department, technical specialists. A CNews source in a company that works with Dell claims that the last day of work will be August 30th.
The source of RTVI also spoke about the departure of the corporation from the Russian market. According to him, programmers who work with Dell and are going to stay in Russia are likely to cooperate with another legal entity.
On February 26, Dell announced the suspension of work in Russia and Ukraine due to the war. In 2021, the corporation accounted for 21% of all server shipments in the country.
