Baza: a gay couple from Moscow faces up to 20 years in prison. Neighbor claims that children saw their sex

A gay couple from Moscow was charged under the article "Violent acts of a sexual nature" after underage children living in a neighboring house allegedly saw them having sex at an open window. Baza writes about it.

According to the newspaper, the children reported what they saw to their mother, and she complained to the police. As a result, 21-year-old Timur and 22-year-old Daniil were detained.

Part of the article under which they are accused concerns children under the age of 14, so they face 12 to 20 years in prison, writes Baza.

In July, the State Duma Committee on Information Policy began drafting bills banning propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations, regardless of age. The head of the committee, Alexander Khinshtein, in particular, stated: “Today, such a ban applies exclusively to children. Of course, this is clearly not enough.

The law is expected to be considered in the fall.
