UN Secretary-General António Guterres arrived in Odessa, where he will continue negotiations with the Presidents of Ukraine and Turkey, Volodymyr Zelensky and Tayyip Erdogan, on the supply of Ukrainian grain via the Black Sea.

Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Alexei Goncharenko in his Telegram channel said that Guterres went straight to the port of Odessa.

On August 18, Zelensky held talks with Erdogan and Guterres in Lvov. With the President of Turkey, he discussed the situation around the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, nuclear blackmail and the theft of grain by Russia. I spoke with the UN Secretary General about a possible IAEA mission to ZNPP.

Turkey and Ukraine following the talks signed a memorandum on the restoration of Ukrainian infrastructure.
