Employees of AvtoVAZ in Izhevsk were offered 5-7 salaries for voluntary dismissal

AvtoVAZ offered employees of its Izhevsk plant 5-7 salaries, additional material support, and employment assistance if they wrote a letter of resignation of their own free will. This was reported to "Interfax" in the press service of the company.

AvtoVAZ will pay seven salaries to employees of pre-retirement age when they take early retirement. The plant calls payments for voluntary dismissal part of a package of "additional support measures to ensure employment and increase the maximum load of the enterprise in connection with the ongoing crisis in the supply of components for Lada Vesta and the suspension of production of cars of this family."

After the outbreak of the war, AvtoVAZ sent its employees on "unscheduled corporate leave" from 4 to 25 April. Then the production was "plannedly suspended" from April 30 to May 11. Since then, the automaker has regularly announced downtime.
