The Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) again hit the American multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) HIMARS on targets in the Russian-occupied city of Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region. The video was published by Ukrainian military journalist Andrey Tsaplienko in his Telegram channel.

“New explosions in New Kakhovka. HIMARS knows his stuff,” he signed the video.

The Russian side also confirmed the strikes. As a representative of the "administration of the Kherson region" told RIA Novosti, Ukrainian troops fired at Novaya Kakhovka, the degree of damage is being specified.

On July 12, the representative of the Odessa Regional Military Administration (OVA), Serhiy Bratchuk, reported that 150 people were killed as a result of the strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Russian military base in Nova Kakhovka. The attack on the Russian ammunition depot was reported on the evening of 11 July. The reason for the powerful explosion could also be the impact of the American MLRS HIMARS.
