A resident of Omsk, Zakhar Zakurdaev, with a 3rd disability group, received bodily injuries from the police and a fine of 30 thousand rubles for a passport with the coat of arms of Ukraine, which he got at a doctor's appointment. The human rights project “Omsk Civil Association” writes about this.

On March 15, Zakhar Zakurdaev underwent a medical examination. The narcologist began asking the man questions about why his passport had a cover with Ukrainian symbols on it, and asked about his attitude to the “special operation”. Zakhar replied that people are dying in the war, and he does not like it.

On March 28, police officers came to Zakurdaev's work and took him to the police station. Zakhar said that he was beaten and forced to sign a confession that he was involved in mass rallies, and could also be involved in “Ukrainian groups”, in particular, Azov. In addition, he was forced to sign an apartment search protocol, and a protocol was drawn up on “discrediting the Russian army” because of the passport cover with Ukrainian symbols.

Zakurdaev was held by the police until March 29 and then released. He immediately went to the hospital for medical help to fix the beatings.

In May, the Kuibyshev court fined Zakurdaev 30,000 rubles under the article on “discrediting the RF Armed Forces.” The ruling states that the man “defiantly put a passport on the table” with the coat of arms of Ukraine when he was at the doctor’s office. In response to a question about his attitude towards Ukraine, he “became excited, got into a state of nervousness, and spoke in an aggressive manner about the course of a special military operation.”

“She [the doctor] told him to stop his statements, he began to leave the office, but continued to speak negatively about Putin V.V,” the court ruling says.

Several other employees of the dispensary gave similar testimony to the man.
