The ex-mayor of Yekaterinburg, Yevgeny Roizman, was detained on the denunciation of the "human rights center" Tsargrad "of the oligarch Konstantin Malofeev. The center itself and Malofeevreport this on social networks.
“Yevgeny Roizman has been detained,” writes Malofeev. - Law enforcement agencies have finally dealt with Russophobes, the true enemies of Russian statehood. There is no doubt that the detention is largely connected with the initiative of the Human Rights Center of the Tsargrad Society to check the Roizman case. The special operation is doing its job: not only liberates Russian lands in Ukraine, but also cleanses Russia itself.”
According to Malofeev's Tsargrad, searches took place not only in Roizman's apartment, but also in his fund and the private museum of the Nevyansk Icon.
“The Human Rights Center of the Tsargrad Society has already sent an appeal to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation. The first time he was able to get off with a fine of 50 thousand rubles, then he continued to publicly discredit our armed forces, and for the second time there will be no warning, he will receive a real term, ”the statement says.
On August 25, the Verkh-Isetsky Court in Yekaterinburg chose Yevgeny Roizman, who was detained the day before on suspicion of “discrediting the Russian Armed Forces” (part 1 of article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), a measure of restraint in the form of a ban on certain actions. Until September 19, he cannot visit public places, use any means of communication, except when communicating with a lawyer, investigator, prosecutor, court, calling an ambulance or emergency services.
Recall that earlier The Insider and Bellingcat, in a large-scale investigation , wrote about the financing by the Kremlin through Malofeev of various agents of influence on the ground, whether it be “Cossack movements” or neo-Nazi parties. A significant part of the information about such financing became available after the correspondence between the neo-Nazi Alexander Usovsky and Malofeev’s assistant, the general director of Tsargrad-TV, Elena Sharoikina, got into the public domain. Usovsky himself, in an interview with The Insider, confirmed that his mail was hacked and that he received funds from Konstantin Malofeev "for comrades from Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia."
The information that Malofeev played an important organizational role at an early stage of the invasion of Ukraine was also confirmed thanks to the hackers who hacked Vladislav Surkov's mail. About this - in the material Glory in Ukraine. Surkov's Hacked Correspondence - Part I.
