Dugin's acquaintances claim that he himself was supposed to ride in the car, but at the last moment he changed his mind and got into another car. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article "murder committed in a generally dangerous way."

The department confirmed that an explosive device was installed in the Land Cruiser Prado car, which went off while the car was moving near the village of Bolshiye Vyazemy, on Mozhayskoye Highway. The explosion occurred just 10 minutes after the car hit the road, writes Baza.
