Occupation authorities of Mariupol plan to arrange lynching of Ukrainian prisoners of war – city council

The Russian occupation authorities of Mariupol are planning to arrange lynching of Ukrainian prisoners of war. This was announced by the Mariupol City Council in its Telegram channel.

According to the department, representatives of the occupation authorities began to build prison cells on the stage of the Mariupol Chamber Philharmonic. The diameter of the fittings from which they are assembled is 20 mm. As it is said in the message, the Russian aggressors are planning to hold the trial already in September.

Mayor of Mariupol Vadym Boychenko appealed to the world community, the UN and the Red Cross with a request to intervene in the situation: “We must do everything so that our defenders return to Ukraine alive and prevent a second Yelenovka in Mariupol.”

Since Mariupol came under Russian control, local authorities have regularly reported human rights abuses by Russians. So, on August 5, Mariupol Mayor's adviser Petr Andryushchenko said that every fourth patient dies in the hospitals of the occupied city. According to him, people are placed in the corridors, since all normal places are given to the Russian military. They are offered to buy the necessary medicines in pharmacies that are associated with the “head of the DPR” Denis Pushilin.
