Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, at least 359 children have died and more than 700 have been injured. Such data are provided by the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine. The agency emphasizes that the count of victims continues in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories, as well as in places of active hostilities, and therefore these data are not final.

- Donetsk - 371,
- Kharkiv - 195,
- Kievskaya - 116,
- Chernihiv - 68,
- Luhansk - 61,
- Nikolaevskaya - 57,
- Kherson -54,
- Zaporozhye regions - 40.
The last death that the Prosecutor General's Office became aware of was the death of a 14-year-old boy in Mariupol at the beginning of the war. Also on August 4, as a result of the shelling of a public transport stop in Toretsk, three children aged 8 to 15 were injured.
In addition, the Prosecutor General's Office reports that 2,211 educational institutions in Ukraine were damaged due to Russian bombing and shelling. Of these, 230 were completely destroyed.
