Eight participants in a flower-laying rally at the “Wall of Sorrow” dedicated to the victims of political repressions on Sakharov Avenue were detained in Moscow. It is reported by OVD-Info.

The police detained Anton Aptekar, Andrey Kizevalter, three girls whose names are unknown, as well as one underage participant in the action and Pyotr Rybakov from the pro-Kremlin movement SERB. In addition, the security forces detained picketer Tatyana Matveyeva with a placard “We must save the world not with blood, but with friendship and love.”

The pharmacist and Kizevalter were released without a protocol. The security forces moved the minor participant of the action to the Temporary Detention Center for Juvenile Offenders (TSVNP). Matveeva was released from the police department with a protocol under the article on “discrediting” the Russian military (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Three girls were also released without protocols.

On July 8, Alexei Gorinov, Mundep of the Krasnoselsky District, was sentenced to seven years in a general regime colony in Moscow under an article about military “fakes”. According to investigators, on March 15, during a meeting of the Council of Deputies, the politician made a number of statements "containing data about the RF Armed Forces that do not correspond to reality." Gorinov called the "special military operation" in Ukraine a "war" and talked about the deaths of Ukrainian children.

The law on "fakes" on the actions of the Russian army was submitted to the State Duma on March 2 and adopted 2 days later by Vladimir Putin's decree, as a result of which censorship was actually introduced in the field of coverage of the activities of the military. Punishment for "fakes" about the actions of the Russian army provides for criminal liability of up to 15 years in prison.
