Mykolaiv, which has been shelled almost every day since the beginning of the war, will be closed for a raid against collaborators – Vitaly Kim, head of the OVA

The city of Nikolaev may be closed for several days or a long curfew may be imposed in order to carry out an operation to search for traitors and collaborators. This was announced by the head of the Nikolaev Regional Military Administration (OVA) Vitaly Kim on the air of Khodorkovsky LIVE.

“There are those who have been here for a long time, with some idea. There are people who are desperate or do not think about the consequences, or decide to make money. These are isolated cases, but each such case entails potential victims when they begin to monitor the locations of the military, air defense or something. We want to nip this in the bud. We are also planning curfew and working off events. We will close the city for a few days, go home and work off those bad people,” said Kim.

Mykolaiv has been shelled almost every day since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. On July 15, rockets hit two universities in the city, one of them is a shipbuilding university.

Vitaly Kim on his Twitter page posted a video of a rocket hitting one of the universities. According to him, at least 10 missiles were fired at Nikolaev that day.

Andrey Rudenko, a Russian military commissar and propagandist, posted on his Telegram channel a video of the strike from Kim's Twitter with the following caption: “It feels like the half-measures are coming to an end. And we start to really hit. On the frames of Nikolaev.

On July 14, the Ukrainian authorities reported an attack on the center of Vinnitsa by Russian Caliber cruise missiles launched from a submarine in the Black Sea. According to the latest data, the death toll from the rocket attack on Vinnitsa was 24 people, among the dead were three children. More than 100 people were injured and turned to hospitals for help. The Russian Ministry of Defense explained the missile attack on Vinnitsa by the fact that "Nazis" were allegedly based in the local House of Officers. The response of the department was published in her Telegram channel by the head of the RT channel Margarita Simonyan.

Since the first day of the war, the Russian side has been claiming that it is only attacking the military infrastructure of Ukraine. In fact, it regularly shells civilian targets. So on July 3, the Russian military attacked Slavyansk. The mayor of the city, Vadim Lyakh, said that it was "the largest shelling of the city in recent times." Also, Russia regularly attacks Nikolaev. According to the mayor of the city Alexander Senkevich, during the war, Russian troops caused damage to Mykolaiv in the amount of 633 million hryvnias ($21.4 million).
