Manturov promoted by Putin will oversee the Urals Federal District

Denis Manturov, in the status of Deputy Prime Minister, will oversee the Urals Federal District. This was announced by the head of the Russian government Mikhail Mishustin.

According to him, Manturov will also oversee various industries, including the nuclear and military-industrial complex.

Previously, the curator of the Ural Federal District in the federal Cabinet was Yuri Borisov, who now holds the post of head of Roscosmos, replacing Dmitry Rogozin in this place.

As for Rogozin himself, Mishustin said that he would soon "take his place in the ranks."

In mid-July, Meduza, citing sources, reported that Rogozin could soon go to work in the Presidential Administration. This information was also confirmed to the publication by an unnamed acquaintance of Rogozin. One of the sources claimed that Rogozin was being considered as a candidate for the post of head of the Presidential Administration. All sources noted that Rogozin is the president's favorite. “The President loves him – and has long,” said one of them.
