The rocket attack on Vinnytsia destroyed or damaged 55 residential buildings, the death toll rose to 24, and another 68 victims continue to be treated in hospitals. “In total, as a result of the shelling, 55 multi-apartment and private residential buildings, 40 cars and two trams were damaged and destroyed,” the report says.
“As a result of the shelling, 23 people were killed, including 3 children. 202 people applied, of which 68 were hospitalized, including 4 children, 110 received outpatient care. All the victims are provided with the necessary medical care.”
Earlier, the head of the Vinnitsa regional military administration, Sergei Borzov, said that one of the victims of the July 14 rocket attack died in the hospital. Consequently, the total number of victims has risen to 24. Four more people remain wanted.
On July 14, the Ukrainian authorities reported an attack on the center of Vinnitsa by Russian Caliber cruise missiles launched from a submarine in the Black Sea.
The mayor of Vinnitsa, Sergei Morgunov, confirmed to The Insider that both missile strikes hit social infrastructure facilities.
“One rocket hit the car park near the community center, where there are a lot of office space, a private clinic and a lot of repair shops. Another rocket hit a social facility where concerts are organized. Nearby there is a large clothing factory "Volodarka", a registry office, a maternity hospital, a pedagogical university and its dormitories, multi-storey and private houses. In total, more than 50 residential buildings were damaged,” the mayor said.
The Russian Ministry of Defense explained the missile attack on Vinnitsa by the fact that "Nazis" were allegedly based in the local House of Officers. The response of the department was published in her Telegram channel by the head of the RT channel Margarita Simonyan.
On July 9, the Russian military attacked Chasovoy Yar.
