At an extraordinary meeting of the State Duma, Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin instructed to work out the issue of establishing a one-time payment for school in the amount of 10,000 rubles for children in Donbass.

The initiator of the proposal was State Duma deputy Nina Ostanina.

“We would ask to extend the measure of support to families with children who live in Donetsk, Luhansk and in the liberated territories,” Ostanina said.

In addition, the issue of introducing in Russia the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is on the agenda.

According to the latest data from the Ukrainian side, at least 345 children were killed in Ukraine from the strikes of Russian troops. In the process, at least 644 children were injured. “These figures are not final, since work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories,” the Ukrainian authorities emphasize.

On July 14, 3 children under the age of ten were reported dead as a result of Russian Kalibr cruise missiles attacking Vinnitsa. In this regard, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the need to recognize Russia as a terrorist state.
