Death toll rises to 43 after Russian shelling at Chasovoy Yar – State Emergency Service

From under the rubble of a house destroyed by Russian shelling in Chasovoy Yar, 43 dead have already been removed, of which there is a child (a boy about 9 years old). This is the data of the State Emergency Service in the Donetsk region.

This afternoon, 38 dead were reported, but 5 more bodies were discovered in a few hours. According to the agency, rescuers have cleared 420 tons of destroyed elements of the house, work continues.


The Russian military attacked Chasovoy Yar on the evening of July 9th. According to the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration (OVA) Pavel Kirilenko, the shelling was carried out with rockets from Uragans.
