The State Duma Committee called for a ban on “propaganda of non-traditional relations” in Russia, regardless of age

The State Duma Committee on Information Policy proposes to ban "propaganda of non-traditional relations" in Russia, regardless of age, deputy Alexander Khinshtein said .

The law is expected to be considered in the fall. It assumes administrative responsibility for "propaganda" regardless of the age of the audience (offline, media, Internet, social networks, as well as online cinemas). The law also prohibits the dissemination of any information among children that demonstrates "non-traditional sexual relations."

Earlier, Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin sent the bill for study to the relevant Committee of the State Duma with the following explanatory note:

"Family, motherhood and childhood in their traditional understanding, taken from the ancestors, are the values that ensure the continuous change of generations, are a condition for the preservation and development of the multinational people of the Russian Federation, and therefore need special protection from the state."

Now responsibility is provided only for the promotion of non-traditional sexual relations among minors.
