Volodymyr Zelensky fired Ukraine’s ambassador to Germany, who called Chancellor Scholz an “offended liverwurst”

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed Andery Melnik from his post as Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany. He repeatedly made scandalous statements about the actions of the German government in relation to Ukraine, in particular, he criticized for insufficiently active arms supplies. “Why are you denying the Ukrainian army these Marder armored personnel carriers, available immediately from Rheinmetall, while Ukraine in the Donbas is bleeding before our eyes? 109 days of Russian extermination war. Why?” he wrote on June 12.

And on May 15, Melnyk called the German Chancellor an “offended liverwurst” for his unwillingness to visit Ukraine.

In addition, the ambassadors of Ukraine to the Czech Republic, Hungary, Norway, India, Nepal, the Maldives, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have been relieved of their posts. The corresponding decrees are published on the website of the President of Ukraine.
