Belarusians banned from boating near Ukrainian border

In the Pinsk region of Belarus, “in order to protect the life and health of the population,” boating was banned on three rivers that adjoin the Ukrainian border - Pripyat, Prostyri and Stari. The document with the decision of the local authorities on this was published on the national legal Internet portal.

The ban does not apply to boats of the fishing control authorities, navigation safety, state bodies of the security system of Belarus. It also does not apply to the boats of the institution “Landscape reserves of republican significance “Middle Pripyat” and “Prostyr””.
