Viktor Medvedchuk, the godfather of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is suspected of treason, has had his arrest extended for 60 days, until August 9. The Lychakovsky District Court of Lviv arrested some of his property, including a railway dining car, the decision was made on June 9. This is reported by the Ukrainian "Channel 5".
In March, Sledstvo.Info journalists found a railway platform on the territory of Medvedchuk's estate in Pushcha-Voditsa, on which a dining car was located. The train has a main hall for 40 people, a kitchen, a VIP compartment and a toilet, a bar counter. Also, journalists who got inside found several glasses with a gilded coat of arms of Russia worth 5,000 hryvnias apiece. In addition, Medvedchuk's car is decorated with a table lamp of the French brand Bronze D'Art Français "Napoleon lll" for 100,000 hryvnias, a gilded samovar, and table sets from the French luxury brand Cristofle Paris. A chest for storing silver forks, spoons and knives costs 14,000 hryvnias, and each silver fork and spoon costs from 3,000 to 9,000 hryvnias.
Earlier, the SBU showed a video in which Medvedchuk said that the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko asked him to contact Vladimir Putin, "considering his contacts and attitude towards him among the leadership of the Russian Federation" in order to influence the possibility of coal supplies to Ukraine from the territories " LNR and DNR.
