Nikolaev was hit by seven missiles. This was announced by the head of the Nikolaev Regional State Administration Vitaly Kim in his Telegram channel.

“Starting from 11:15 on Wednesday, June 22, Mykolaiv has been under heavy rocket fire. Strong explosions are periodically heard in different microdistricts. A huge column of black smoke rises above the city,” writes the local newspaper Novosti N.

RBC-Ukraine, citing local media , reports that before the explosions in Nikolaev, rocket launches from the occupied Kherson were recorded. According to UNIAN, both infrastructure facilities, in particular the port industry, and residential buildings were damaged .

In the Nikolaev region, as a result of the Russian invasion, more than 5 thousand civilian objects were partially or completely damaged. Among the destroyed buildings are residential buildings, medical institutions, educational institutions, industrial facilities and cultural institutions. At the same time, Russia continues to claim that it is attacking exclusively the military infrastructure of Ukraine.
