Rosreestr classified data on the summer residence of “Putin’s chef” Yevgeny Prigozhin

Rosreestr classified information about the real estate of "Putin's chef" Yevgeny Prigozhin. We are talking about his possessions near Gelendzhik, not far from Putin's palace. The Telegram channel “We can explain” drew attention to this.

In 2016, FBK found out that the land plot where Prigozhin’s dacha is located belongs to the Turstatus company, one of whose owners is Prigozhin’s wife Lyubov. In addition, their children posted photos on social networks with geotags of this place. Now the controlling stake in Turstatus is owned by Prigozhin's son Pavel.

According to the law "On State Protection of Judges, Officials of Law Enforcement and Supervisory Bodies", Rosreestr can hide data on the property of security officials, federal judges and some officials. However, businessman Prigozhin, who has a criminal record, does not fall into any of these categories.

Rosreestr removed information about the current owner of the site "Putin's chef". When you try to order the relevant extracts, the site gives the answer: "The requested information is not available." The same is true for another site leased by Turstatus. As We Can Explain, this is the first known case when Rosreestr classifies data on the property of the Prigozhin family.

Prigozhin is a recidivist criminal convicted of theft, fraud and involvement of minors in criminal activities. He earned the nickname "Putin's chef" because he organizes Kremlin dinners. In addition, he sponsors the Wagner PMC and owns the largest troll factory. Prigozhin's mercenaries are involved in many operations abroad, in many cases (such as the invasion of Ukraine) under the direct command of the GRU.
