Tinkoff Bank will charge all SWIFT transfers less than $200 as a commission. This was publicly acknowledged by the support of one of the largest private banks in Russia during a communication with a client on Twitter.

To a direct question from one of the users: “So if they send me $150 from the USA, will you just take everything for yourself as a commission?” A representative of the bank on the social network replied: “Hello. Yes, such conditions. Hope for understanding".

On June 16, Tinkoff-Bank announced the change in the conditions for SWIFT transfers. The minimum size of an outgoing transfer is now $20,000, the transfer fee is 3% or 200 USD. e. minimum and no more than the amount of the transfer. At the same time, the bank improved the conditions for owners of foreign currency accounts: if earlier it announced the introduction of a monthly commission on all foreign currency accounts over 1,000 USD. e., now he has softened the conditions by raising the threshold to 10 thousand c.u. e. Until June 30, the bank made all outgoing currency transfers via SWIFT free of charge.
