The Ukrainian court banned the activities of the “Party of Shariy” in the country

The Eighth Court of Appeal in Lviv banned the activities of the Sharia Party in Ukraine. This is reported by the website of the movement "Chestno". This is the second attempt to ban the party: the first time the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) demanded to ban the blogger's party in the District Administrative Court of Kyiv a year ago.

For what reasons the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the SBU demanded to ban the party, it is not known: the meeting was held behind closed doors. Shariy's Party is already the ninth party whose activities are banned in Ukraine by a court order.

Shariy himself became a suspect in the case of treason in favor of Russia back in February 2021. On May 4, 2022, after the start of the Russian war in Ukraine, Shariy was detained by the Spanish authorities, but was immediately released on bail until Ukraine requests the extradition of the blogger.
