The Russians were presented with an eight-day tour route "Siberian Holidays" with a length of 1.2 thousand km to the places of rest of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The head of Rostourism, Zarina Doguzova, spoke about the new route during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, she is quoted by TASS:
“The Siberian Holidays route is an absolutely special route, which really has no analogues. It runs through the territories of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khakassia and Tyva. It combines incredibly beautiful nature, very bright ethnicity of the Siberian peoples, unique artifacts - Scythian gold, grandiose tombs of the leaders of the prehistoric kingdoms of the Middle Yenisei, religious places of Buddhism in Tuva and much, much more. Included in the route and a miracle of engineering - the majestic Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP. The first groups of tourists will travel along it in July. I also plan to go on the route this summer.”
She also spoke about other new routes: "The Sovereign Road" - between St. Petersburg and Moscow, "Zhiguli Weekend" - in the Samara Region, "Kuzbass - Fire in the Heart" and "The Day Begins Here" in Sakhalin. They can be found on the Russia.Travel portal, when choosing, it is proposed to use the services of a tour operator or go on your own. According to Doguzova, 1.2 billion rubles have been allocated for all routes under development, next year - 3.1 billion rubles as part of the Rostourism grant program.
At the same time, the department added to Novaya Gazeta. Europe”, that “the very places” where Putin is resting, no one will let the Russians in, and the route “Siberian holidays” is different from the presidential one. “Just around. Well, Vladimir Vladimirovich is resting on the Yenisei, and we have the Yenisei. Or Tuva - both with us and with him. We tried to bring it as close as possible, but these are still not the very places where he and Sergei Kuzhugetovich rest, ”said the Rostourism.
In September last year, Putin spent a vacation in Siberia with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. The Kremlin published photos of him with fish caught in the taiga, as well as photos of walks with the Minister of Defense.
