At least 4,481 civilians killed in war in Ukraine – UN

At least 4,481 civilians died in the war in Ukraine. This was announced on June 16 by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Among the dead - 1739 men, 1159 women, the sex of 1299 adults could not be established. There are also children among the dead: 119 girls and 125 boys, the gender of another 40 dead children has not been established.

Earlier, the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported that 287 children were killed, another 492 were injured during the war launched by Russia in Ukraine.

On June 9, a report by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights reported that since the start of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine, 4,302 civilians have been killed and 5,217,000 people have been injured. Among the dead - 272 children.
