In Yekaterinburg, a monument in the form of the letter Z was opened on the territory of the railway connection of the Central Military District. It is painted in the colors of the St. George ribbon and is made of rails.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation writes that the installation is dedicated to the participants in the war in Ukraine. The opening of the monument began with a minute of silence in memory of the servicemen, and after the railway workers laid wreaths at the monument to the Russian anthem.

Interfax reported that a monument to those who died during the hostilities in Ukraine was going to be erected in Komi. It is planned to depict a soldier on a granite slab and engrave the inscription "Bow to you, soldier of Russia."

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that over the past 24 hours, the Russian army had lost one hundred people. At the same time, since February 24, according to the report, about 32,000 Russian soldiers have died.
